I was shocked at how delicious this recipe was–I’ve only made it once, but It came out tasting just like the inside of a Butterfinger candy bar. The next time around I plan to dip the top of each square in some melted chocolate and then set for an hour or so.
1 lb. candy corn
16oz jar peanut butter
16oz pkg. chocolate candy coating
Melt candy corn in microwave on high 1 minute. Stir and continue cooking in 15-second intervals until melted, stirring after each interval. Stir in peanut butter. Spread mixture in a buttered dish. Cool completely. Cut into squares. Dip in melted chocolate candy coating. Lay on waxed paper to set.
I stumbled upon this recipe on a Taste of Home message board. The entire process took about 10 minutes, and it’s quite the guilty pleasure for lovers of candy corn!
